Easter Weekend Zoo

We found out the zoo was coming to our neighborhood and took the kids. They had so many animals there it was unbelievable. I was most impressed with the huge bunny rabbit that was there. This thing was so big, I couldn't even get a shot of it with my wide angle lense.

Anyway, the four of us had a good time feeding the goats, ponys, sheep, kangaroos, a turtle and a camel.

They had to cage the bunny up though! She was making trouble!

Dalton Receives a PERFECT Score on Spelling Test - Grades Come in Better

Dalton recently scored a perfect score on his spelling test (see left) and did very well on his third quarter report card, exceeding expectations in Bible & Character, Science/Health and Class Participation. Up to this point he is at or above expectations in every catagory in his first year at Grace Covenant Academy in Huntersville, North Carolina.

When asked how he got so smart he said, "By going to school and reading books with Mommy and Daddy every night." Seriously! That's what he said!! We are so proud of him!

Bubba & Yvette Celebrate 12 Years of Marriage

Hello friends! Yvette and I celebrated our 12th anniversary today! God has blessed me wth a wonderful wife who has supported me in all of my ventures from football and starting my own business, to NASCAR and now Bank of America. She is like fine wine, getting better the older we get.

She is also a great mom too!! As you can see by the photo to the left, she can dress 'em up good.

Anyway, God is good! Keep Jesus in the front of your mind as we approach Easter. It is a time of celebration, because death could not hold Jesus in the grave. He is risen, alive and well in us!

Dalton's Spring Break - Visits Daddy's Office

Dalton spent the day with Daddy today at Bank of America. We had a great time together. All the people in my office loved him. Steve Greene's birthday was today and they had sausage balls in the morning and ice cream cake in the afternoon for everyone. I think Dalton thinks that that's the way it is at work everyday. That would be nice.

A Sunny Day in March

We had an awesome day today! we went to church and then enjoyed the North Carolina weather. We went to Jenny and Brians and ate some grilled cheese sandwiches and were lazy all day. Don't we make some cute kids??
